Choose Water Board of Directors
Walter Albritton is a United Methodist minister now serving as an associate pastor of Saint James United Methodist Church in Montgomery, AL. He is the author of several books available from Amazon.com. His latest book is titled 233 Days – God Hurts Like You Hurt When Death Claims Someone You Love. Walter encourages the missionary vision to share Christ with the world. He has visited mission work in 26 countries including South America, Central America, the Far East and Africa. In recent years he has helped to provide wells with clean water in Zambia, having visited that country three times. He is praying for every village in Zambia to soon have clean water from their own well.
Walter and his wife Dean have 5 children, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
Brad Armagost is Executive Vice President of ServisFirst Bank in Montgomery, AL, where he is responsible for running the commercial and private banking operations. Previously, Mr. Armagost worked over 16 years at Regions Bank, where he most recently was Executive Vice President & Commercial Banking Executive.
Mr. Armagost was a member of Leadership Montgomery Class XIX, and served as the past state Chairman of the Alabama Young Bankers Association. In addition to his role as Board Member for Choose Water.org, Mr. Armagost served as the 2013 River Region United Way Campaign, Chairman of the Small Business Resource Center of the Chamber of Commerce, American Cancer Society Vintage Affair Committee, member of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Circle, board member of the Montgomery Area Business Committee for the Arts and plays lead guitar in the St James UMC Praise Band. He served in the United States Army Reserve from 1986 – 1993. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama, is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University and the Bank Administration Institute’s Graduate School of Financial Management at Vanderbilt University.
He and his wife Grace Ann have two sons: Chandler and Cole.
Jacob Eubanks is founder and CEO of Choose Water. He grew up in Florence, Alabama and later studied at the University of South Alabama. After graduation, he spent five years as Creative Director of WCOV Fox 20 in Montgomery, Alabama before founding Choose Water. He now lives and works in Zambia connecting American organizations to the remote Zambian villages in need of clean water.
Brad Goode is the Associate Pastor of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile, Alabama. He grew up outside of Chicago, IL and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a B.S. in Religion. After college, he ministered in Detroit MI, Honolulu HI, and Vail CO before staying nine years at Saint James UMC in Montgomery. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Brad has been married nine years to Rachel and has three children: Caroline, Amelia and Owen.
Christy Smith is a manager in the Fort Walton Beach Tax Division of Warren Averett, LLC.. She has over 13 years of experience providing consulting, attest and taxation services for private companies conducting a wide range of business activities. Previously, Christy practiced at a firm in Lexington, Kentucky specializing in the agricultural industry.
Christy is Treasurer for Choose Water. She holds an BSBA from Auburn University Montgomery and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Alabama. Christy served as an executive mentor for the business school at The University of West Florida since 2012. She serves as a creative arts volunteer and a co-worship leader at Niceville UMC. She and her husband Jeremy have three children, Aidan, Maddox, and Grace.
